Precision Internal Turning! 🛠️

Thanks to our 3000 mm long anti-vibration boring bar with an operational length of 2250 mm, we can perform internal turning on tubes up to 4500 mm long and with a diameter of 450 mm. After several processing stages, these components will become rolls dedicated to the paper processing industry 📜.

Precision internal turning allows us to achieve perfectly concentric tubes between the inside and outside, thus reducing balancing issues ⚖️ and avoiding the need to weld weights inside the tube. By not welding weights inside the tube, we avoid creating weak points in the roll 💪.

At Zenit, we have several anti-vibration boring bars, the largest being:

  • 3000 mm x 250 mm with a usable turning length of 2250 mm 👨‍🔧 👩‍🔧
  • 2000 mm x 150 mm with a usable turning length of 1750 mm 👨‍🔧 👩‍🔧
